Now it's time to take care about the engine in my w201. It's january 2012 and the car has changend it's home, so did I :) already stripped down some of the engine components and started cleaning. The plan is to give the engine bay it's old original look, upgrade what's possible and mainly remove all leaks by fitting new gaskets etc. Also when started, i've noticed that almost every electrical cable is hard and firm like a pole or stone - probably caused by high temperatures and age :( further investigation showed that i need to replace almost every insulation on these wires and open every plug and socket. BIG JOB!

It's June 2012 and wheather allows me to put my hands on the car again. Cables are sorted now, so we started to dissasemble that poor engine. Oil mixed with mud is everywhere as you can see :) Slowly, place by place I have to clean it out.
